I've got a bullydog tripledog downloader that I let a friend use on his 03' 6spd. cummins, it's the version 2.2.7 with the Crazy Larry tune, after trying to uninstall it & put it on a 6.6L Duramax it tries to identify the VIN & then says it can't communicate with the vehicle, & says error 3, I went back & installed & uninstalled the program about 3 or 4 times & it says it's uninstalled & you can't choose the shift on the fly options so it seems to be unloaded, but if you hit the right arrow button to scroll over it still has the VIN for the 03' dodge in it & says it's unlocked???? what do I need to do to get this thing working properly?????? thanks alot, Dusty

they must have the day off!!! tried that already.........guess I'll try tomorrow, anybody have a # or extension that will get me a tech & not a flunkie pencil pusher that's gonna read me the same thing I have in the book????? lol thanks, Dusty

 

if I remember correctly 2.2.7 is a dodge only tune

 

Does it read his vin# correctly? Does it read your vin# correctly? Or is it off a few digits in certain areas?
