If you ask me the BFG Mud Terrain is named wrong. From my experience its one of the best all-terrain tires and a crappy mud tire. If they weren't loud and rough (I know, I'm getting old) I'd have a set.

Too loud and rough for me. Ten years ago I would have been all over them!

They dont where that well either, at least from the people I know that have had them.

I have said it before and will say it again, superswamper ssr's were hands down the best tires I have ever owned. I got 35k out of a set on a superduty, wich was more than I expected and rode better than my bfg mts. My buckshots are nice but not as impressive as most other mts and arent that great for hard core mud. But at 140 a piece I aint complainin.

Got good wear on my BFG MT but not nice in the rain or ice which you probably don't have to worry about

procomp xtreme at's aggressive look, quiet, 40,000 mile warranty, e load rating, I love 'em. Don't get 37's they do not turn well with a five inch lift

Anyways in the line for 35's or tops maybe 37's. Only time it see mud is by accident or turn arounds with the race car trailer on side of the road but does see sand a lot.
I would like a tire to last at leat 30,000 miles (that may be asking to much)
but none the less.
Toyo Open country's ,Wear caracteristics?
Mickey Thompson ATZ's ,^^^^^^^^^?
Anything im missing help me out I want a decent ride And a good tire
Ive never had much luck with BFG all terains on light trucks but hear there alright on these?

Any pictures of your rigs, or sugestions would be greatly appreciated

THANKS
Israel Sweeney

That's easy, BFG AT K/O's, best all around tire for a 4WD.

After about 3 sets, they do wear a bit better than the MT or BFG...

whatever you do dont buy cooper discovery tires. had them on the truck for maybe 10,000 miles and they maybe have another 10 left if that. i like the pro comp mud terrain tires. i bought a set of used ones for my 94 cummins and they lasted forever and i never got stuck in any mud till the 4wd went out. thats what im getting once these coopers are done
