I just downloaded the bully dog on a 06 ctd for a trial and went to take it off today and it wont come off it gets about 50% down loaded with stock and it freezes. I cant put the bully dog tune on and I cant get the stock one to go on does anyone have any ideas, I cant wait tell tomorrow to talk to bully dog the guy needs his truck for work tomorrow any suggestions thank you

Maybe,either the truck or the downloader is in recovery mode.

I think I remember reading that when this problem occurs that you must get a special program sent to you from BD. Doubt that you will get much till Monday am at least. I think that it si sonme type of repair program to correct the problem load. Hopefully someone will have a more concrete answer than I am offering.

That is why I just don;'t trust downloaders. Not many problems but when they cause them it really limits your repair options. Wheras with a chip you can jsut unplug it put all back tostock and continue on.....JM02>>......

Have you tried unplugging and plugging it back in it should recover itself. Do you have the radio off, air conditioner/fan off, cell phone charger unplugged doors closed, internal headlamps off. No power draw needs to be coming from the vehicle besides the tripledog have had problems with this in the past.

I tried everything it went into recovery mode every time I plugged it back in. I unhooked the batteries then hooked them back up and let the truck sit for a couple hours then first time boom just worked.

i was under the impression that the trial tune will go away on its own after so many key on and offs.isnt that what a trial tune does?or did u borrow a tuner and load a tune and now u want to reload the stocker?

The trial tune is suppose to erase itself after a set key counts/run time cant remember exactly what it is thougt. However their are several trucks that wont ditch the tune like my 03 truck LOL.
So you did get the truck recovered KMKDIESEL?
