NEED HELP - Leveling Kit w/35's

Will a 18 x 9.5 rim with 6 inches of Back Spacing allow the tire to NOT rub? I tried fitting a 18 x 10 inch rim with 4.5 of back space and it rubs bad and will NOT work so I have to get a lift.

Sorry I did do a search and I just need a direct answer to this.

I leveling kit should work. My 03, I started with a leveling kit, BFG 315's on 17x8 w/4.5 inch backspacing, and they cleared. I then switched to factory alloy with 6+ in of backspacing with MT/R 37x12.50x17's. and did not rub on the fenders, but touched the radius arms at full turn to the right.

You should be fine.
