Need Help Fuel Pressure Gauge Installation For Fass Fuel Pump

Does anyone make a fuel gauge kit complete with gauge and fittings that will allow me to see fuel pump pressure from my fass fuel pump.

Im thinking this kit could bolt on to the fuel filter incoming fuel line.

Please help - Not sure what my best move is at this time !!

You want the FP gage down stream from the filter. That way you can tell if your filter is stopping up.

Check the "links" at the top of the page and get you an aftermarket fuel line kit. I think most will have the option of ordering the fittings for the FP gage.

Are you using a mechanical or electrical gauge. I tapped mine on right at the cp3 injection pump.

Here's the set up I used.

what kind of fass pump do you have installed? if you have the 95 gph kit without filters then you can do the banjo bolt. but if you have the kit with filters then you will probably have to do like me and have tee off the fuel supply line so you can run your gauge hose or wires to sending unit.

I have the 95 with filter's. I bought the extra plate to plumb into the stock filter so I could keep the heater and water in fuel light. That allowed to to use the banjo bolt on the cp3 pump. No T's anywhere.

FASS recommends you use the port on the pump housing marked with the letter "G". Why tap a down stream line when you relly need to know what the pump is running at?

Most here beleive by putting it down stream you will be able to tell when you need to change your filter's by seeing a drop in pressure.
