Yes: http://www.thebritebox.com This is by far the best upgrade to your lights possible. You can talk to him about upgraded low beam bulbs and all of that too. He really knows his stuff.

Well there are proably 4 aproaches to take.
1. better bulbs (sylvania silverstars or something)
2. HID (expensive and not DOT if not facotry equiped)
3. projector headlights (many aftermarket out there not sure on qulity)
4. the option posted above.
you may consider a combination. run the bright box with silverstars or something like that. I think most very high end cars are HID projectors lights. I don't have much experiance with these options so i can't really give you much input on which is the way to go.

I have the Brite Box SD7+FLC Kit with Silverstars in the headlights and foglights and I have plenty of light. We have the same setup on my wife's truck and she loves it.

Well I thought I would try Silverstars, except the '06 uses the H13/9008 bulb and Sylvania doesnt make a Silverstar H13/9008....So I bought some Nokya Arctic White Zenon 55/65 watt bulbs...They arrived and I installed them today...I now have Silverstars in the fogs and Nokyas in the headlamps....First impression is that they are WHITE...Havent decided on brightness yet...Nokya also makes Stage II bulbs, which are 80/100 watts instead of stock 55/65 watt....Using those would require an upgrade to the wiring harnes....

Bassmastermckee,
Try your local 4x4 shop as they will usually carry a direct replacement 85-100w bright white H-4 bulb for our trucks. Central 4 wheel drive has them available on line.
I ran them in my 98 and It made a world of difference! CHP runs them in all of their trucks and cars.

I put some Silvania bulbs into my truck, and changed from 9006 to 9005s in the fog lights, and its a little brighter.
I also got my britebox in the mail, but I have to find some power resistors and wire them somehow to make it work with daytime running lights here in Canada.
I also got my Randy E. lightbar in the mail, and plan on going with 4 6" lights. I think I'll then have enough light off road. But with the britebox, I think it should be decent on the highway with those 9005 lower bulbs.

The britbox is triggered when it sees power on the highbeam line. So when you turn your high beams on, the britebox turns everything on...and when you kill them, it kills everything (except your low beams and/or fog lights if you have them on). However, in canada, daytime running lights are a highbeam at 5v... so with the britebox as is, when you plug it in, the moment you start your truck, and your daytime running lights go on, it triggers the box. I think I need a power resistor or two in the signal line to the britebox, so that it does not get turned on until it sees 7v+. That way, when you manually turn the highbeams on (they go to 12v), it'll trigger the box. I think there was a post about this somewhere, I gotta search it because I have to figure out where to put in these resistors, and what kind to use.

silverstars or the piaa 9000 series?? both stated on britebox site! is there any real diff in the above bulbs??
one question is what is the life of these bulbs?? the sylvania silverstars are rated at a life of 60 ?? what ever that is (can't be hours)
