Rail drained...

Turn down the Revo to 7 or 5 and see if it still does it.

It pops at lower RPMS? Not at 2500 plus right?

Still could be the rail...try a lower setting or get a rail gauge.

What else could cause the popping sound? I had that as well. RP only dropped slightly. Now with 4.4, RP drops much more, but no popping.

If that doesn't work, try timing on 3.

When I had popping it was at certain RPMs at WOT... it was a timing issue. And that is with smaller stix than cquestad above... every truck will be a little different and you'll have to experiment to find what works for you.

i get rail dran even on # 5 on tnt software with my stix, and the diy cp3, im waiting on the stg 3 pump from don...

remember lvl 1 is 100hp, lvl 3 is actualy more than #9 on other software for the 555 trucks, i haven done back to back testing on all the levels to get #'s due to rail drain , but id say lvl5 is closse to 200hp....
