Need advice on South Bend DD/ 3600 or 3850

Im trying to deside on a South Bend DD for my 06', im lookin at the 3600 12CB Sprung Hub and the 3850 12CB Sprung Hub. Truck will be a daily driver but gonna make about 6-8 hooks a year.
Witch one would be best for my needs?
Anyone daily drive the 3850 if so how do u like it?

I daily drive a 3850 FB so, it can be done farily easy. According to Manzel(Peters Double Disk Guy) the 3600's Are holding very well for sled pulling. IMO I would get the 3600. Lots of guys are having good luck with them and they are easier on the lft leg. Or you could go Triple disk with a 3250 plate load and not worry about anything. Thats what I'm going to do.
Remember just because the Plate load is higher doesn't mean it's going to last longer, just greater clamping pressure. It's all in how you drive and and pull.

You know What I don't no. That would be difficult to fit a Triple disk Sprung Hub in the bell housing but if it could be done Peter would the man.

I don't really know anything more about them other than They last longer and less pedel effort. Noise i'm not sure. I guess i depends on the hub (solid or Sprund hub)

Ive run both the 3850 and 3600 in sprung hub design. The 3600 is a little easier to drive and a little easier on the left leg but the 3850 wasnt bad at all. The only reason i switched is because i had problem with the 3850 and Peter took care of it and in the process we decided since i dont sled pull, the 3600 would serve me just fine.

I daily drive with a 3850 DD sprung hub, and the pedal pressure has never bothered me. The only downside for me is it's occasionally hard to get into gear from a stop, even when searching through other gears first. I'm not sure that plate loading has anything to do with this though...
