too bad that muff looks like it only slips on one way, most of the straight through style muffs have louvers, one way you get full quieting power, the other end around is louder, in between muff and straight, see if ya can flip it with a coupling to try it . me? I love my 5 inch straight pipe :P
It's a pain trying to talk on the phone with the straight pipe. Or listen to the radio. Or talk. Or...

Are any of you guys running without the cat and muffler? I know mine fell off and just cruising down the road at a steady pace its not to loud but I was ust to my 01 rattle and straight pipe on it!

I would say the muffler in for distance driving, especially when your asking the thing to pull. IMHO the straight pipe sound would really wear on your (fatigue wise) by the end of the days haul. You need a switchable system like the new Corvettes have then you could make noise when you want and be quiet when it was "needed"

Yep, that was the reason for putting it on. (that, and it was less to pack! lol)
I've been running 4" turbo back for a while, I love the sound of it. I can't decide if I should go stacks of 5"...

There is the solution to "pullin' the muffler off and puttin' it back on. They go up to a 4" which would be ideal for most applications on here. The people I know that have these have had 0 problems out of them.....
I'm sure most of you know what a cutout is/does, but if you don't there is a little sound tab over to the left on the dmh page

I definitely like it better with the muffler, much smoother and more turbo.
