My truck reeks when it warms up
I have noticed here latley when my truck get to running temp, it has a diesel odor or hydrocarbon smell.
not sure if this is the winter blend or the Lucas additive I have added.
has anyone else expierenced any odors ?? I have checked my oil for signs of diesel but nothing thats noticeable to the untrained eye.

Check your blow-by. Remove oil cap with engine running and smell... if it is the same, then it is the odor from the breather tube coming back into the cab. This is common with "Rosmella" trucks.

I'm running Delvac right now but think i'm going back to rotella. the smell never really bothered me, it went away within 500 miles after an oil change anyhow.
