Something to consider on those runs, it was 85+ degrees that night with about 90% humidity.

I bet if it was a cooler night, say in October/November you would have been in the 12's.

I'm just running stock hides,.... but I'll ck it out. You would think the SMARTY would come with it adjusted for stock rubber,... Geez!

That is something else I did not pay any attention to, but when I had the Smarty loaded city driving I really did not notice OD off. I will pay attention next time I load it.

And yes it was normal Houston August weather, hot and muggy. But I don't want a weather excuse or any excuse for that matter. Ugh, except maybe the out of money one .

Well, if you can't get it to fuel over 2200 at launch, then the smarty is not doing much for torque management.
Believe me, before I lost my original ECM , I was lucky enough to have some help getting some work done using cummin's Cal-term. There is easily enough power to put the stock converter against the governor at launch! Been there, done that.
There is a stall table in the software to control transmission output speed versus engine RPM.
