I ran a 30 mile highway loop before and after with the cruise set at 70mph both times. Before the Miser, the overhead showed 18.3 mpg and hand calculated i was at 19.477. After the Miser, the overhead showed 21.0 mpg and hand calculated i was at 21.385. Powerwise, I can't really tell a difference, but was never keen on the power side of things, I'm more interested in squeezing some more mpg's.

It should be noted that the 'after' test was run with a muffler delete, whereas I had a muffler on the 'before' test. I wanted to do the 'after' test before I took my muffler out, but the weather wouldn't permit it and boredom got the best of me, so i found myself in the garage yanking the old muffler out.

Anyway, just thought I'd share. Seems like a decent increase in mileage, so I think I'll keep it. I can't imagine the muffler delete would have that big an affect on mileage, but I may try another test with the Miser disconnected and then reconnected again in the near future.

I'd go on a much farther trip than 30 miles before I'd settle on a mileage increase. 30 miles just isn't enough time and can be affected by all sorts of things.

very true, which is why like i said, I'd like to do another test, but i think it's a somewhat fair indicator. It was literally all 30 miles on cruise control at 70 mph as i was using a truck stop right at the on/off ramp.
