If you wannt get rid of that MEP let me know.... I was thinking about ordering one, but just haven't gotten around to it. Plus I want to call a local exhaust shop first and see how much they will charge.

Installed Muffler Eliminator Pipe Today

Installed the muffler elimiator kit today. Kept the cat.

Thought the turbo and the cat would have an effect.

Not happy .

Drove around town with the windows down, got on the interstate that has a on ramp, uphill with a retaining wall on the right.

At an idle, not bad...

Part throttle... is that a boat?

Heavy throttle, WOT... Rusted out muffler with gaping hole.

Knew right off... This won't do.

Stopped by the local muffler shop and had a chat with the owner. Decided upon the Magnflow as it is a straight through and, doesn't have any louvers that will restrict flow. Will be here by Tuesday I hope.

JohnCA58 and his donaldson 85171, could be the right answer.

If the Magnflow doesn't do it for me, that will be the next step.

make sure the tip is out past the bed wall.

if it's that loud, the tip is prolly under the bed and resonating off the fenderwell

try a tip first, then the muff.
