Cool Mud Tires For a Dually

How big of tires can I fit on my 04.5 dually? with or without a 2 inch spacer in the rear .

good luck!

not much available
dodge and goodyear really hosed us with this 17" wheel/tire on a dually

dont get me wrong, theres lots of 17"tires out there
but not many with enough load rating to haul anywhere close to the load capacity of the truck

bfg mud terrains in 285's or 315's and a 2" spacer is about it

be careful about "cheap" spacers
I got some aluminum ones that I am going to return
there is no way that they will ever hold up to heavy loads and vibration
also they dont center the outside duals properly

keep in mind that our rims are hub centering not lug centering

the spacer needs to have a shoulder on it to center the outside dual properly and should be made out of steel

these wimpy aluminum ones WILL crack

How did you get Goodyears?
I would have rather driven my new truck home on the bare rims than be stuck with these cheap Generals.

goodyear comes on some duallys
some get the generals

depends on if you order it with the all terrain or standard tires
there is or was an option for that
