MBRP cool duals

Ok, who has the MBRP cool dual exhaust on here and be willing to answer a question. How does the exhaust go to duals after the muffler. Does the muffler dual the exhaust or a Y-pipe and that connects to the muffler. I am wanting to have no muffler.
Thanks,
Andrew

The mufler has the Y pipe on it, but the muffler is small and plenty loud, in fact to loud for me also added a resinator.

So, can I cut the Y of the muffler and stick a pipe where the muffler should be? I want this thing loud.

southernfordman,

Yes you can cut the Y out but you'll need to weld it to a muffler delete like we sell to compensate for the loss of length in the system by pulling the muffler out etc. Call us if this confused you, just wanted to make sure you knew what you're getting into. You'll find that with the muffler vs without there isn't a lot of difference in total volume etc. So you might not want to mess with it anyway. Plus we have all the MBRP here for you to select from in aluminized, 409 and 304 stainless.

Can you only get the "muffler delete pipe" only in stainless?

Yes they are 36 inches long to make sure you get plenty to be able to cut twice after you cut it too long the first time etc etc. Call us if you have any questions etc.
