MPG improvement with hard toneau cover???
Just priced one for ~$650.00.
Can't remember the make but it goes up and down on piston hinges and is removable.
Weighs only 58 pounds and has two side by side locks.
No-drill installation too.
How much did you pay for your hard tonneau cover?
Also, how much extra mileage did your truck gain after installation?
This guy claims I'll pick 2 mpg with it.
Thanks,
DT.

i have a long bed with no cover i drive 75 on the way to work unless there is traffic and i get 19.4 according to the overhead. I have tryed driving into work with my tailgate down and removed, for a few days i swear it was helping, overhead was saying 21.5, then other days it was back to 20, so i dunno, i guess tail wind head wind traffic... dont know, but i sill want to get a cover....

DT, sounds like the Undercover tonneau. I have one,and am quite happy with it. Very light, quick and easy to remove. Comes with a couple of hooks to hang it on the wall when not in use. Good seal on it. Easy install. Haven't noticed a significant mileage increase.

Funny you should mention the Undercover Tonneau SteveZ, I just ordered one. Glad to hear someone else is happy with it.
Easy on-off (one person), 58 lbs and very strong.
$700.00 installed (probably too much but I need it).
It'll be on next Friday, I'm psyched!
Thanks!
