Mp3 player thru my RBQ 6 disk head unit???
Question for you guy's, I'd like to run my mp3 player thru the stock head unit. Anyone know how I'd go about doing it or if it's even possible?
Thanks for any info

You can do an FM modulator (that's what I did for my Sirius) or get one of PIE's or USA-Spec's adapters. They'll run you about $100 and plug into the factory CD changer or satellite radio port in the back of the head unit. The sound isn't the best but its better than using a modulator and completely eliminates the chance for interference. They also have more than one input so you could hookup an MP3 player and another device, such as a DVD player.

Thanks for the replies, called Crutchfield and they said no go because I have the built in 6 disc changer. Also searched the net and the sites I hit said the same. I had a dvd video system installed in the truck when new, I'll give the guy's a call there and see what they say. Maybe I can piggyback off it.
