Has anyone toyed with the idea of running a boost elbow to get more boost out of the VA C3.2? I don't have a boost gauge, but I recall someone saying that the VA C3.2 did not raise boost as much as the EZ. Isn't 35 psi the majic number for the stock turbo?

 

Been thinking about this too. Now I'm looking at turbo's. Should have done that first before any other mods but I don't know how high the boost will go without a box and I don't want to deal with codes if I have to take it in.

I discussed this issue in a thread on NW Bombers. I believe it was Even A Beck that said his company experimented with the boost elbow and they lost 20+ HP with the VA box. "Don M" stated that my truck probably "runs better" with the low boost (29psi on high setting @WOT). My thinking was that if I could get more boost, maybe my EGT's would be cooler. Maybe later, if i'm not too lazy, i'll link to the thread.
