More problems. Any ideas what else?

well it turns out the fass pump is going thru spells of not pumping the gas so dan at fass is taking the whole unit back to do some bench load testing on it and then sending it back. I appreciate him honoring his product enough to do that I just wish it hadn't taken quite sooo long just to solve the problem.
Word to the wise, buy every imaginable gauge you can and then buy two more. I think I couldve found this months ago with a fuel gauge but nobody seemed to think it was the pump with the rest of the symptoms and the fact that the pump always sounded like it was working.
Thanks to everyone that helped. Especially john who was willng to go out of his war to try to fix it even though we knew it wasn't his pump or dons inj that were the problem.

Analog fuel, egt, boost, trans and oil pressure. Then digital rail pressure with another fuel pressure. I will have fuel pressure pre and post filter. As well I am adding front and rear diff gauges once i have the money. And when I can afford it... ZEX nitrous pressure. So that will be 3x a-pillar, 2 x steering pod, 2 digital and 3 above the rear mirror. Should look like a jet cockpit soon!

Thermally intermittent lift pumps are a lot harder to find. Only sure way is to replace the darn thing and see if that fixes it. Other than that, if you can partially or completely disassemble it, the bad ones have rough bearings, which you can feel if you spin them by hand.

I know this is a bit late but even though the pump is not pumping constantly the CP3 will pull fuel enough to keep it running because it is a flow thru pump. I was going to suggest you check to make sure that the feed line to the CP3 is the correct line from the FASS. I made this mistake when I hooked up my Airdog and had similar symptoms. If this is the case the fuel line with the air contaminated fuel is being pushed to the CP3 and not back into the tank. In that case the CP3 would be pulling air instead of fuel and that would cause it to die. I hope it all works out for you.
