More problems. Any ideas what else?

ok so I just picked up the truck, got 3 miles, stopped put smarty on and it died 2 min after. 3rd trip to two different shops and same issue.

So here is what has been done:

Replaced inj. With flux 3.3s and had don go thru them and fix a leaking problem

Put on stage 2 floor it pump

Had fass filters replaced 2 times, once with the wrong ones

Replaced self modded FCA

Capped the rail to eliminate possible bad prv

Also removed mp8, tst, and smarty

Here is what I know:
I have no gauges on the truck now to check anything as I'm waiting to get it home to install new commander.

It seems to do it with or without the smarty

I can hear the fass running

It throws no codes

It acts as if I have no fuel and won't fire once it dies but if you wait a day or two it acts like nothing is wrong.
help if u can
It thows no codes

I also didnt get my fass warranty paperwork in and every once in a while it sounds weak or muffled even though everybody swears they last forever. Should I have bought an airdog?

Also the dodgedealer won't look at it without returning it to totally stock, yeah right

so I spoke to john at floor it and he is more than willing to fix it for me but is three or four hours from me and I need to go back to work in a few days. I would love to have him do the work but I just can't get it there without a massive tow bill.

So any ideas? I was thinking bad fass pump but john says even his makes aloe of racket

If the FASS is running it is working, even if some-how the FASS is not pumping, the CP3 will suck through it anyway. You can pull the line off the cp3 and turn the key to see if any fuel comes out when the FASS sounds.

When did it first start doing it? Had you done anything to the pump just before?

Thanks chris I know where ur goin with this and I had this loser diesel mechanic in pa. Install it and yes he did leave me runnin outta fuel at 1/2 tank. I already remedied that when I did the tank vent mod.

I have 3/4 tank now!

Try unpluging the FCA and see if it will start.. If it starts the engine will rattle alot because the CP3 will be putting out max pressure.. When you drive it on the road how is the throttle response when you have it floored?

Drain your computer system-unhook both batteries and touch the + teriminal with - on both sides. check if fuel is getting through the fass and past cp3. im assuming you are just looking for your check engine light to come on and identify codes or with smarty and no code---i dunno. i know my computer acts up time to time and that draining the system works for me
