With my my max exhaust set @ 1350 I could run it on 4/4 and it would defuel shortly after kicking in to OD. I can run it @ 6/6 now and it defuels @ about the same place. If I had a way-scratch that- when I get a way to keep my exhaust temps down, with stock fuel, I think I should be able to run 7/7 right through all shifts. I'm not sure what the new TST run for but you can get Pyro & Boost gauges, Turbo cool down, adjustable timing and all that power in one unit.

I like the idea of better flowing injectors, not raising the pressure behind them hoping the injector nozzle or case doesn't crack. Besides this , better balanced injectors make for a smoother running truck.

where's the best place to look at / buy a TST on the web? I don't think I've seen on yet and am curious.

someone made mention of using an Edge EZ...when i had JUST an EZ on my truck, unloaded at 80mph i would see 1500* on the pyro when acclerating to 80 firmly.

you sound like a perfect customer for the Bullydog Triple Dog. power and economy...keeping it on the tow setting and you'll be fine. when you are ready to upgrade later, get the crazy larry program...and then you will be

Here's another vote for Quadzilla. Their XZT box isn't adjustable but was designed for towing. Their Xzillaraider boxes alter pressure, timing and duration. The timing and little bit of added pressure help out with the fuel economy. If I'm not mistaken, the only setting that raises pressure above the maximum stock pressure is the 130hp setting on the race box. The lower settings just add the pressure sooner. There are almost always some for sale in the Classifieds here. Their customer service is pretty darn good too. You might want to also get a fuel pressure gauge no matter which box or downloader you choose to go with to make sure your CP3 isn't doing the work of the lift pump.

I use a SP Diesel stage II, it is adjustable on the fly you can set it for fuel economy or all the way up to full blown race mode. If you keep the settings down from FE and 1-5 you wont hurt nothing, but 6 7 8 9 and HO you may be on your own.
