Mopar Chrome Exhaust Tip Added

95.14 well spent. It hooks on the 4" pipe, then opens to 5" right after the clamp

i also got 18-037-04 done today. took about 20 minutes. my overhead is reading 19.8mpg @ 70mph. I noticed also after the TSB that the truck is smoking a LOT more. like even on the highway it will smoke when i punch it. Off the line it makes a huge cloud. I dont think the TSB was supposed to do that, but it sure did!

You may want to consider welding it onto the tailpipe.....if it's clamped on, it could be someone else's soon.........

well i thought about welding it on. if it were stainless i would weld it on. Problem is i live where it snows a lot, and there is mag chloride on the road that will just tear up the tip. My 04 1500 had Duals on it with welded chrome tips. the tips were already starting to get rust spots on them

if i can find a new stainless tip ill weld it on. Besides, i live in an area with not much of a population so nobodys going to steal my stuff. There are better things to steal out here

genogarage.com has the 5" stainless tips pretty cheap. That's what I have on mine. The website doesn't show them yet so you have to call them.

You can drill a small hole under the clamp and use a pop rivet. A small deterent for theives and incase your clamp loosens you wont lose your $100 tip.
