The belt for this pump is different the a belt drive for a cam. I totally agree about not running a belt driven cam for offroad. We actually caught a pebble at the drag strip in a cam belt drive, and it shreaded the belt. A cam belt drive has tension on the belt. I.E. it's not loose. Anything that gets in that belt can eat the belt. The cog belt on the MITUSA is installed very loose, and if twigs, mud, etc. gets in it, it won't hurt the belt. I have over 130,000 miles on my 02 with one, and it's still on the original belt. It does get offroad as well. Here is a photo of it during "off season" activities:

Paul did u make that mount for the Mitusa?
Im switching to this pump and planning on dual cp3's in the near future and would like it to be mounted where u have yours.

I do like the mount up top as well! Looks like it runs off the top CP3....does it actually mount to it as well? Is this something you fabbed yourself or is it available in kit form?

Looks Nice!

Nope, Opie made the mount. It fits really well.

Yes it both runs off the top CP3 and mounts to the bracket for the top CP3. Opie is the one that made the bracket, as well as the rest of the kit.

That's why I like my 12v...mechanical! Looks and sounds like a good mod for the newer trucks!
