Mitusa fuel filtre configuration

Will be installing a Mitusa. I will be mounting on top near the second cp3. Looking for some ideas how to filtre the fuel before it hits the cp3's. At this point I only see using a 1/2 fuel strainer inline or running it down to the frame and plumbing a universal filtre assembly.
Any thoughts.

Glacier Diesel Power has some options, http://www.glacierdieselpower.com/de...dept_id=08-001. I have mine mounted underneath the intake horn and it fits nicely there. They also have remote mounts to put it just about anywhere underneath the truck.

Are you making your own mount for the Mitusa? You have a Fluidampr, right? So it won't work down below. I'm considering the Mitusa, but didn't know they had come up with anything for our trucks yet. Since nobody can seem to cure the weird fluctuation issues with the AirDog, I think I'm jumping ship.

Jared,

Opie has a bracket for dual pump set-ups. Tim has test fit it and it sounds like it has been perfected and ready to hit the market. I have a glacier filtre kit. I was going to run it before the Mitusa and a second one after. Should I just run a strainer to the Mitusa then a Micron 2?

I'm sure dual filters couldn't hurt! Right now I have a strainer before the Airdog150 then it gets filtered thru the AirDog and since I already had the GDP 2-micron from when I was running my Walbro, I just left that one under the intake horn, then it goes to a "Y" and splits to both cp3s. So, it gets filtered twice thru two 2-micron filters, which I'm sure restricts a little, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Does anyone know what kinda pressure/flow these 2-micron filter assemblies can handle?

I do not have filtration before the mitusa, and I am using the stock filter housing with the 4 micron baldwin filter after. The mitusa is a straight gear pump. It's not likely anything would cause a problem going through it. Straight gear pumps typically will chew up anything that goes inside of them. I have dual cp3's and a fluid dampner, with Opie's bracket. Here is a pic:

Rob, I actually draw through a fleetgaurd 2 micron filter before it gets to the mitusa, then back into the factory housing after the mitusa. If you need a filterhead let me know and I will bring you one to TS. Tim
