My question is do you have a problem with your truck defueling when your building boost at the line or when taking off from the line? I know that the 03 + 04 have that problem but I want to find out if I'm going to have the same problem with my 05.

i have an 03 ho and an 05. they both defuel at the line and between shifts. bd makes a device called a rad. i have one on my 03. it eliminates torque managment. also eliminates top speed gov and can use it to calibrate speedo for larger tires on the 04 and 05's. just be aware that torque managment is a good thing for a stock tranny. a rad and a box will roast it quickly.

I called BD and they don't make one with RAD for a 05, it only does top speed and tire size. I don't seem to have a problem with top end because when I followed the porterfields on a trip we were doing 120mph several times. Its hard to keep up with them

i still have my directios for the box on my 03. ill have to check but i thought it did the 05 as well. just as a side note and not in anyway to bash bd at all because they make great stuff but i had some problems with the install and called them 3 times and they gave me wrong info all 3 times as far as what wire to cut and were to cut it . so they could be wrong or i could be wrong but ill double check for ya. the rad is not the easiest install since there is 2 orange tracer wires in the same wire loom and you have to trace them to get the right one. ill let you know what i find.

Tim told me last night that 7psi was the max you can do at the light. I just talked to christian at BD and he said that they haven't made a RAD box for an 04.5 and newer. He also said that he has an idea of how to make one but they need more requests from people and it would take time and would be costly.
We need some kind of help with this problem

I will let you all in on what seems to be a little known secret. If you are looking for a power adder, the Edge Juice w/Attitude will overide the tranny TMS if you set it up to do so. The directions show you how to de select tranny defuel. I don't have any of the problems you guys are having. I can redline now if I wanted to at a stop. Hope this helps in your search.

There is a way to do the 04's and back, the trucks with 2 computers. The 04.5 and newer only have 1 computer that is on the side of the block and as of this time I know of no product that can defeat the torque management If you know of a way to defeat it please let all of us KNOW.
