I put it on my '07 turbo back. much too loud and much too drone if you are not all out performance. learned the muffler can be put on 2 different ways, one is much louder. i added the resonator and put the cat back on very drivable now, I feel I may have lost some performance, but driveability and comfort are better. I may try removing the cat again

mbrp, i contacted their customer service and they told me about the 2 ways to install the muffler then suggested the resonator if i was still unhappy

 

The 90353 is decent...but the 11580 is quieter.

 

these Aero exhausts seem tolerable. they have 4" and 5". the xl is a resonated muffler. good luck

this muffler if on the john deere 8430 T ,this have 9 liter engines and 400 HP

i think think this muffler will fit on my truck with the 5" exhaust

 

i have order the 100465 muffler....
i still wait for the postmann!!

I've had the 5" MBRP on mine since new. Now has 165,000 miles. Has a deep sound at Idle, and smooth deep sound at cruise. It does get loud when you get on it, but thats what it's supposed to do. It is slightly louder at interstate speeds, but never has bothered me. It actually does wonders getting my 18 month old son to sleep. No complaints. Also, mine came with the good stainless clamps. Good luck......

but i have limit from 90 db on 2100rpm on standing. with my old 4 " magnaflow i havit 105 db on this messure
to loud

the donaldson have 15-20 db reduce.

I bought the MBRP 5" a couple of weeks ago. Personally really liked the sound of the straight pipe with a tip, but people beside my truck in other cars hated me! So, after a week I decided that I needed a muffler. I installed the muffler on Friday, and holy cow does this thing sound good. The Aero Turbine 5050 actually made my truck a lot more quieter than it looked like it would. The truck still has a nice deep throaty tone, and I have already had 3 or 4 compliments on the way it sounds so far. Just figured I would let you guys know what I thought about the Aero Turbine muffler. Highly recommended by this guy.

 

i have on my old 4" system magnaflow muffler and the 4040 xl muffler, this if to loud for switzerland...!
the 5050 i think ar also to loud!!

I have the MBRP 5" on my 06 and I hate it. My biggest problum is the fit at the turbo. Off roading it will come off the turbo just enough to make a good leak. I cut out a section and put in some flex pipe so far that seems to be working.
I have installed MBRP on fords and it was a good fit with no problums.
