Maximum Stock Boost Pressure?

What is the maximum pressure the stock turbo should be pushed to?

My Edge j. with a. system recommends a max. of 36 psi. With my Edge set on level 3 and my K & N intake, I am bouncing it off the 38/39 psi mark. Just don't want to damage my turbo prematurely.

Thanks, Skinner

Boost Pressure

I've seen 32 once, however I just glanced real fast (may have been higher) It was singing at that Boost, about 3,000rpm. It took off like a Bat outa heck but wow. That's as high as I've whitnesed. All the other times I try to keep my eyes on the road.

42 lbs easy with my quad box. after it hits about 25+, it really launches your butt into the seat.

They say that after 36 psi the stock turbo is just heating up the air needlessly and not doing any more good.

Here in Denver, I don't see more than about 36-37 psi on mine with the Juice turned up but, I was over in Tennessee earlier this year. Coming out of Chattanooga on hwy 24 headed toward Nashville with about 16K lbs of trailer in tow, I was seeing 42 psi and staying nice and cool. I couldn't believe the power and temperature difference being at that lower elevation.

RamWheelsBy4 - Are you running a stock turbo or have you upgraded? I just don't want to blow my turbo up pushing 39 psi. Skinner

Industrial Injections Super Phat Shaft 66. I was afraid of nuking the stock turbo also. Seemed to me that anything over 38-39psi did no good, guess the air was just to hot at that boost on the stock turbo. The SPS 66 is wastegated at 50psi, I think I may have got close to opening it playing with Crazy Larry and Hot Juice on Level 3.

I have the BDDL triple pup and on the 130hp mode I can't get it over 30psi. I went to one place and town and he had a lil brass 90* fitting that went onto the turbo that would alow it to boost another 5 psi. What are you guys doing to get the higher boost? I'm gonna try the Crazy larry program when it lets me download it. I dont have a cold air intake or any exhaust mods, may that lower my boost to only 30psi?
