get to work this morning and notice within a minute that i have a big diesel puddle under my driver side door area. did some quick investigating (since i am at work) i have fuel literally pouring out from where the fass (red) filter plate attaches to my filter housing.(not coming from the push- lok fitting) fass has been installed for a year and i have had no problems. the fass filter plate it on there tight. i am going to check it out after dinner-but does anybody have any suggestions???

talked to several fass dealers today- got a different answer from each one. i ordered a replacement filter plate and fuel line fitting- because when i talked to the fass people directly this morning(i believe it was dan) they told me the now use a different fuel line fitting for the filter plate. seems odd that it took exactly a year to start leaking-i mean leaking bad! posted this to see if anybody had the same problem,etc.

pulled off the fass filter plate-do not see anything wrong. the oem o-ring in the fuel filter housing is there and is seated correctly-this is where the gobs of fuel was coming from-between the filter housing and the fass filter plate (i was under truck, watching the fuel pure out of there!)- i am stumped

new fass filter plate, fitting and o ring installed- still leaking between the oem housing and fass filter plate. what is going on??? o-ring is not pinched!! started leaking yesterday after a year!!!

problem fixed! only thing i did different was- i drained the fuel out of the bowl-cleaned inside- reattached everything- no leaks!
