I thought limited slip fluid wasn't required on these trucks.

I could be wrong, but I think I remember a guy having issues with his limited slip using that kind of fluid. Something about the friction modifiers causing high heat levels. Don't take my word for it though. I'm only 70% sure on this.

I won't know the temps until the guage gets here later this week.. What is a good safe temp to go by??

Nope. Or atleas the directions never mentioned one... Sorry about the brain fart earlier.... Shoulda known.. Dropped tranny temps's 12 degrees and right now the rear diff just driving around runs about 110 degrees...

The MH double deep pans come with an adapter to place the transmission filter down lower in the sump.
