Made the Truck fun to drive again.

Finally got an OFE installed, what a sweet clutch! Still early in the break in but it's already just as smooth as stock, a little tiny bit more peddle pressure at the very bottom but barely noticeable. I can't wait to get it broken in. Once that was done I went to the local hot rod shop and picked up a Diablo Predator and loaded it in the parking lot. The 100 hp setting seems weaker then the 100 hp tune in the Juice, but when you crank them both up, it's a new ball game! It really pulls hard, better than I had hoped for with a stock lift pump. It didn't seem to starve for fuel at all during the runs I was doing. Kept the Predator on the 100 hp setting then just played with the Juice from there, level 3 or 4 is a blast around town. Way less smoke than just the juice on level 5 and much quicker. It just runs so smoothly, and EGT's are nothing regardless of the power settings, it's my first stack but it sure works well. Thanks to the info from other members I didn't have to do any experimenting, just got a good combo! Gonna do a Glacier or FASS in the next 3 weeks, I would like to do it myself just don't have the space. Can any locals reccomend a shop that's not booked 2 months out, I'd even drive to Calgary. Predator guys, are there any updates that I need, better tunes etc...?

Thanks, John

When I was at NADP picking up the clutch he said they were booking waaaaay out for the shop, they did find time to do a 150 for me in 2 weeks though! Can't wait for the end of this shift! I better start saving my pennies for a turbo now.
