thats really crappy. U shouldnt be able to drop it that low on stock. I dont see how people pulling a large trailer uphill have anything left. I was talking to a ford guy the other day before I beat him and he said that they dont have to worry about their fuel pressure. why is this? he said his was over 100lbs but i think he was talking about something completely different.

I'm sure he was talking about the pressure from the injection pump. Next time you see him, tell him you are running 24000psi that what coming off your CP3

If you want to upgrade your fuel system let me know.

I ran 4.5psi for a year on my 05 with no problems. The best way to look at it is that a Durasmack has the same pump, but has NO lift pump. It pulls its own fuel

what the ford guy was talking about was that his lift pump actually does put out 100 psi but that is beacuse he has a diffrent injection pump from bosch that requires this pressure. The bosh injection pump can not suck in it's own fuel from the tank like the cp3 can. The cp3 is used in gm diesels without a lift pump beacuse the cp3 can feed it's self. It has enough vaccume to get the fuel to the pump from the tank. So the ford guy is still dumb for more than one reason but this time he was right.

Quick Reply: low stock fuel pressure! 9lbs.
