I thought Smarty boost fooled to like 40 or so psi..

Smarty does not technically boost fool, it rewrites the boost tables to allow 45 psi before it will go into code mode. On some trucks the WG off does not function. Add a quad boost fooler that clamps the voltage out of the MAP sensor and it will allow it to make 40-42 psi consistently without codes.

Possibly, I think it uses the MAP for a connection and I believe it boost fools from that point.

I clampet the wastgate hose to day after work, and it made my day. Power and boost back The wastegate is screwed up or the Smarty wastegate on off seating is not working..

Just a thought but after you installed the boost gauge and noticed the problem did you go back over the connections to the GAUGE that nylon hose couldve gotten pinched, otherwise i would be visually inspecting the intercooler, boots, and piping. At least before you start throwing money at it.
