Loss of power while towing need help

This will be a lengthy post but this is all the stuff new in last 3 months

Walbro lift pump
Arson III kit
pressure valve capped
New Formula one sticks
New fuel rail pressure sender
Map sensor
boost fooler
Turbo
Intercooler
I have just adjusted all the valves
Reset the apps
No codes present
This truck used to do the same thing with the old set up also. Up steep grades the truck would slowly loose boost and speed going up the hills. It gets worse the longer I run it. Im beginning to think the ecm is defueling it under heavy loads for some reason. I run my smarty on 5 with 3 tq and 2 rail pressure, 2 timing. I had a edge with attitude on it before and the truck would even start to jerk like it was running out of fuel when it was under a very heavy load. Any more Ideas would be great. I have pressure tested the everything and sprayed it down with soap and water and no bubbles. Right now empty the with the smarty set like that it will only make 31 lbs of boost. With smarty on 7 it will get up to 37lbs but it is struggling to get there. Im out of ideas

I just thought of something else the boost needle on my auto meter guage smoothly goes up to about 25 lbs then when it starts bouncing around when the boost gets higher than that. Dont know if that makes a difference but thought I would add that.

From your second post it sounds like a waste gate issue.

THat or a boost leak of some sort somewheres else. I tend to agree it seems like a wastegate issue though.

Those numbers are with the waste gate pinched off. I spent all day messing with the settings on my waste gate and with it hooked up it really dont build any boost, Im talking 18 psi on the mat in stock mode. I was on the phone with the turbo manufacturer for 45 min today and he said he would send me another one if this was bad. It did it with my stocker turbo also.

I went out and pressure tested today again. I pressurized the turbo to 20psi and sprayed soapy water on everything. Could not find a thing until I sprayed the aluminum housing on the turbo where it mates to the cast iron. All the way around it leaked a lot. Not sure what is next, been on the phone with the turbo guy again.

I swapped out turbos for a he351 same thing. I have pressure tested everything and cant find it. I think it is a boost leak also but I cant find it. I swapped out intercoolers and have new boots on the way. Where else should I look?

Exhaust manifold. You could start by checking for cracks, see if the mounting plate is flush and has not shifted or warped.

When I had the turbo off I did not see any cracks or any black sooty areas that might indicate that the exhaust manifold could be cracked. That is about the only part I can think of though that has not been changed that might have anything to do with this. Im usually not just a parts changer but this one has me stumped

have you verified your fuel pressure? How about rail pressure?

I did just change out the lift pump and put another walbro in, I have it set at 15 psi at idle. I did have it checked out when I first started having this problem at IFS (International fuel systems) and they said I was in spec. With the waste gate not pinched off it will only make about 18 psi of boost that is why im looking in the direction of a boost leak.

You might try checking the MAP sensor, & double check the connections on the rail pressure sensor. You may have one or both giving false info to the ECU that is not far enough out of spec to throw a code. I just saw that you replaced all of the sensors, but did you check the wireing back to the ECU?

Yes I did look at the wiring, I also took the connections off the ecu and cleaned them with electra clean and put them back on. I also had ecu reflashed a week ago.

Have you tryed running without the boost fooler? May be the fooler itself, or maybe the wireing for it.

Yes I tried running without it and I tried a different one my buddy had on his truck and no difference.
