This is common on the 04.5 and newer trucks and is where my coolant was going.

I did this slick little mod and problem solved...

Do the oil analysis. If you have a leak it could be one of the freeze plugs in the head under the valve cover/rocker box. Otherwise you will find a peepee trail of pink/white chaulky antifreeze somewhere as long as you still have the factory antifreeze in it.

Hmmm, that link works for me..

From the top of the page menu list, choose "Articles".

Then from the top left menu's choose "Diesel Technical Articles".

Then under 3rd Gen, choose "$2 Dollars - 15 Minutes - And No More Dripping Coolant ---> "

Found the leak!!!!! I think it is the water pump it is coming from the front right side of the engine. I have been looking at it each day after driving home and did not see anything. Today I just went all out and turned her on up got to about 102 and got to the house looked under her and saw a small drip on the bottom of the right side. I know I shold not have done this lol but tasted it and it was coolant. Can someone tell me how much a water pump cost and how much to install? This is the only problem I have had with the truck since I bought it new. Thanks again guys for all the help figuring this one out.

Get one at NAPA for about 80 bucks. Coming out the weep hole, that's normal.

Just drain the cooling system, remove the drive belt and take the 2 bolts off the pump and its out.It uses an o-ring seal so no gaskets to mess with.Vey easy job.No need to mess with the fan and shroud.

I have 2018 Dodge 6.7 3500 Ram dually with 170,000 miles. I am losing coolant from somewhere. There is no obvious leaks or smells and the motor is running fine. There is no coolant in the oil. I have looked all over the engine and no visible leaks. I have had it into to different shops who have done pressure test on coolant system and found no leaks. The second shop though maybe the EGR is leaking coolant into the exhaust when pulling a load on causing the the low coolant sensor light to come on. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for the help guys.

Have you checked the clamps/hoses when COLD.
Often times a cold water leak will go away when the system warms up.
