I understand the bully but, if you wouldn't mind... what was so bad about the Smarty ?
You don't have any mods in your sig, are there any to list ? If not, I can see why you wouldn't like either of those boxes.

I dont like to have to plug it back in to reprogram thats 1. 2 the bully dog would shift like crap at low speeds. 3 My buddy powerjoke whopped my *** with his edge on 3 and I was on 7 with my smarty. And my smarty fried 3 deals for my stero deck. it was for the key sensor thing every time I changed a level boom it would go out.

Huntsalot SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS WITH THE BULLYDOG.
I hope i dont have that kind of luck! My (PMT) works GREAT! I dont think your buddies truck would out run the BDTD just dont sound right

Is your buddies truck as stock as your is ? SW #7 can give you a ton of power... it's the one I run all the time....Moderate SW #7 It seem you haven't given Smarty a chance. You need some good mods to run the Moderate or Wild SW and I bet with all of it together... your buddy wouldn't have done so well.
Not sure what you mean by " smarty fried 3 deals for my stero deck " Are you using to most current SW from MADS ? You shouldn't be seeing a skim key code . Not real sure what that codes about but, I've tried a number of different levels and SW's and have never had that problem.
I would suggest talking with whom ever you bought it from to see if there's something that can be done, if necessary.

well ive ran edge boxes and they seem to be good quality. not really that aggressive compared to other things. edge is safe power I feel not big power for a cummins. I had a friend with the adjustable quadzilla box for an 03 cummins it was a joke. it dynoed 299.

Was the truck like a CA truck or something? Then that might start to make some sense since they are rated at 235hp at the flywheel stock.

My 03 SO with a Quad Race and VA C3.2 dynoed 341hp/714tq. It felt much stronger than that but that's the numbers it put down. It also dynoed at 299hp with an Edge EZ on the 4th setting.....

I would think that makes sense. That SO truck had to be around the 200 rwhp mark. The thing is that even the EZ at 299 is doing good but, you have to know it is on an SO. Big difference in the SO or the CA trucks.

I agree there. Regular SOs like the one I had dyno around 190 hp stock. I was happy with the gain I got from the EZ box since it was only rated at 70hp. I was very disappointed in the Quad/VA numbers because, as I said, it felt much, much stronger than 341hp. The truck would actually get sideways on the 1-2 shift. It was killer!!
