Nice knife and I see you got one of those rare 5500's nice , but really Im going to be tackling this job in the upcoming months, and Im not trying to be a smart butt, but what took so long getting it off, it seems like that shouldnt be that hard? Just trying to see what Im getting into.

Thanks... the beer might have had something to do with it. I think that if I would have taken the manifold off instead of trying to drop the turbo first, it would have been a lot faster. That, and I was working in the dark.
Soaking things down in PB blaster works well.
Ya like that 5500? Which knife, the benchmade?

Well, it's in!!! I fired it up, no leaks, took it for an easy spin... didn't get on it or anything, I wonder what the break in is?
This thing sounds like a freight train... amazing!
