Tc

I've used the Suncoast triple disc converter and the ATS 5 star (5 disc) and they are both top notch.

As far as the lockup I think what you're looking for is a controller to then lock up those converters on an as needed basis,.. pulling,.. drag etc etc. I use the ATS controller for adjusting the lockup for each gear. I've also heard that TS Performance has a very good controller for lockup. Hope that helps.

You can't beat a $3 switch and a resistor for the money

What year truck? I know which wire to ground on mine to lock it up. Simple switch. There is a big thread on how to do a 04.5-05 lock up switch...

I use the ATS co-pilot. I installed it to assist in compression braking when I load my 3800 lb Artic Fox Camper. It allows me to hold the lockup and control my speed as I come down steep hills in Mexico. I strongly advise against one if you are having any torque converter shudder, replace the TC first.

I use the cheap switch and resistor and it has worked well so far. I know the controllers are nice and ive heard good things but 400 for a controller would pay for engine parts or something more important is my opinion

i just went with a suncoast 3 disc lock up converter with 2000 stall. what a diffeence. the truck spools up alot faster and i noticed a big difference on the track and street racing. i cant wait to come back home to it, deployed to iraq for 6 months :-(

ATS co-pilot is great as far as I am concerned but for the price a switch on the dash would work just as good.IMHO
