A little help with the mods

I am almost ready to put my 03 cummins in my 02 Ford and need some advice. Do I need a boost fooler with the Smarty and a HTT 64/71/13? And what kind of Hp do you think I will run with Smarty, Htt 64/71/13ss, 110lb valve springs, 90hp injectors, Maxspool 2.5 cam, Evil twin cp3's,Airdog 150, Hellmann intercooler, intake horn and grid heater delete, self made huge intake filter setup, Htt exhaust manifold and a heavily ported head. These are the things that are done so far.

If you have some ?s, PM 5.9Excursion, he put a cummins in his former V10 excursion. He has a huge thread in the Cummins conversions area. I'm sure he can answer many questions you may have.

If the 64 can give it enough air, it should go to the high 500's on a good dyno...maybe 650 on a normal one. Make sure you get a pressure box that will help low end power alot.

As far as the pressure box goes, I would get a ts mp-8. The smarty will not boost fool enough with the 64. It will through an over boost code when it exceeds 44psi but the ts mp-8 will boost fool and will take care of that problem.

The three main types are Edge EZ's TS MP8's and Dr. Performance box's. I have an EZ works great, adds alot more low end power and throttle response. I'm going to be going to a different custom pressure box that is extremly aggresive soon, ill let you know how that goes.
