Lift pump life and filters

Lift pump life and filters
Presently I am running the stock lift pump with factory filter. I am wanting to increase the filtering of the fuel to increase injector life. Question is I have been looking as some stand alone fuel filters or should I get the air dog 100 with fuel filter and water seprator and pump? The truck has just about 200K on it with still the original in tank lift pump. What is the life expectancy on these? It still puts out about 10 psi, down to 5 under WOT.
So should I replace the pump with an airdog or wait until the factory one takes a crap and just put a stand alone fuel filter in?
Any advice or product info / experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

My 05 has 150,000 miles on the original in tank pump. Most of those miles are with the Juice on #5. I dont think you can get much better than the Fleetguard filters using stock filtration. The stock pump cant push through those lower micron filters. 200,000 seems to be allot of miles on the stocker. I would replace it before it goes out. Never know when or where she'll leave ya stranded when it goes. Both Airdog and Fass seem to be decent pumps that offer good filtration

Thanks cincy. So many choices. I was thinking of staying with the factory filter water sep and putting a 2 mic filter between it and the CP3. Then just get an airdog stand alone pump.
Thanks agian for your time and info.
