lift pump

I was wandering a friend of mine just got a BD aux lift pump for his truck will work as well as a fass or air dog on mine also?

Personally if going through the trouble of installing another pump why not get one that can replace the stocker and have a higher flow rate?

those AUX pumps are the same pumps that fail like crazy on the 2nd gen trucks..
