Lift for Megacab 2500

Whats the best 4" lift for a 2500 Megacab Diesel ? I drive this truck everyday to work and would like to run 35 x 12.50 x18. 6 inches would look good to but like I said I drive it everyday and dont want it to be uncomfortable to drive. Thanks

Lift

Depending on your choice of wheels backspacing you could run those with just a 2" leveling kit. I ran 35x12.5r17 on stock wheels with just the 2" lift. With a good alignment there was no rubbing.

Kore all the way. I went with the recon series and i do a bunch of off roading and occasionaly jump it. It is as smooth as a babys butt. I might upgrade to the fox shocks at some point but i like it so much i might not.
With factory offset wheels i can run 35's with out rubbing.

Thuren, Lorenz and carli offer the same thing for less money than the Kore. On a side note I run 35's stock height with stock wheels with very little rubbing, only at full lock one direction.

x2. And the Thuren and the Carli kits (not sure about Lorenz) have softer spring rates than KORE. I've heard KORE's springs are pretty stiff.

If you're looking to fit 35x12.50x18's I would just do a leveling kit or a 3" kit from one of the three companies listed above. If you want to keep a stock or even a little better ride -- in most cases -- an "off the shelf" kit is not going to offer what you want.

I have the 4.5 inch Tuff Country lift, which looks good and is functional, but far from comfortable. Really for the cost it is not bad, but if ride quality is number one, I would definately go with the Kore or Lorenz. Just nicer set-ups, way more driving friendly, but obviously a little more costly.

Thanks for the recomendations, I want the lift look without any problems. I have a 2" leveling kit from Lorenz and a ajustable track bar from Thuren that I just received and not installed yet. I decided that I would like to lift the whole truck atleast 4" with a decent lift and sell the stuff i just received or send it back.

Keep the track bar at least. It makes a big difference in the way the front end feels and will work fine with more than 2-3" of lift.
