the tgc kit is nothing more than a rough country lift the reason that top gun is allowed to put there name on it and call it there lift is they had a company cant remeber the name start making 6" lift coils because all that rough country had was a 5" kit with spacers and people would buy it becausae it was cheap but it road like crap so they would go bad to tgc and buy the coils plus if you bought that lift and coils all at once it was still cheaper than other lifts. so in the end rough country and tgc made some deal so the kits use tgc's springs wether u buy the tgc lift or rough country. the coils are a little stiff but not bad.i found out buy asking 1 of they guys there how they can get a way with it doing that and he told me the story if you call they and question it they will tell you ask for jody he's worked there sense day 1 great guy knows his dodges

Sorry guys for the late reply and thanks for all the info so far!!
I seem to like the tuffcountry 4.5'' lift
Does anyone have any pics with a lift of this size with stock rims ??
Wonder if lifting my truck with stock rims and my nitto's would look stupid or not ??

I had a 4" on my 05 with 35's on aftermarket rims.... looked good..... The one I jsut ordered is the 5" with adjustable control arms..... This will alow me to push the axle forward and allow for the extra room for 37" tires with rims that dont have quite as much Backspacing..

As far as the company TGC, I have not had a problem with them, I sent them an email late saturday night and had a reply on sunday, ordered the lift sunday night, paid on monday night and it shipped yesterday...... I cant ask for much more........ If I wanted to be babied and pampered I would order locally and have it installed locally, I want to save $600 so I order my stuff from them on ebay or from their site....... I have ordered 5-6 large purchases from them and have not had an issue including 2 prior lifts and 3 sets of rims and tires plus some other items in between.....

I went with the Superlift 6" with Bistien 5100 shocks. Every part was in the box. Instructions were right on. Clears the 37s no problem. And the truck rides like a cadillac compared to stock. Just make sure that whatever kit you decide to buy that you get a driveshaft drop bracket. Most kits don't include it. I had to order mne separate. But you only need it if your truck has an 8 foot bed and thus a 2 piece driveshaft.
