Leveling kit???

I'm getting ready to replace my tires and was thinking about going up in size. My shop says they will install a 2in leveling kit, do a front end alignment, and mount and ballance 315 bfg's on my stock rims all for $1,000. How do you guys think my truck will ride after the leveling kit? Any imput and pictures would be appreciated.
Thanks, Andrew

just stay with 305 and lower and forego the leveling kits... anything bigger than 305 wears your front end out and some leveling kits look like ***... have a slight, slight front rake looks way better imho... check my pics...

I would have to agree with sticking with 305's for longevity, but as for looking better with the slight front rake, no way, truck shouldn't look like a dog sniffing around in the weeds. The price they gave isn't bad, what kind of leveling kit will they put in, for that price I'm assuming 2" spacers. Replacement coils are a much better choice but more $ the spacers will retain the factory ride as it doesn't change the spring rate

Here's mine, I'm still waiting for my Centerline wheels, these are stock size tires on factory wheels.

Why your on the topic of leveling kits, I was thinking about putting a leveling kit on my 97 but was wandering if any modifications to stearing, shocks, trackbar, or anything else needs to be done?

I guess I'm confused why one would want a leveling kit on the 2500s? Here is my 2500 4x4 with 295s and stock wheels... I can't see a rake to the front... what am I missing?

Along with shocks you also need to look at the track bar and sway bar. They need to be dropped.

The dodge is the most level 3/4 ton out there on stock suspension. The Ford is a joke...I had a 3" level kit on my F350 and it was still slightly nose low...but the F350 had a 1" taller rear block than the 250. I have debated over and over about leveling my dodge. It does look way better than the Ford in stock height, but could go an inch and a half or so up to look perfectly level.

That is not a bad price, especially the BFGs are about $200 each.

Here is my truck with 2" steel coil spacers and BFG AT KOs, in the 315 size:

Thanks for all the replies. They were going to put 2in spacers in. But i think i'm going to hold off and save for a suspension lift.

Yea, looks "alright" until you hook a trailer to it. Then it looks like your rear bumper is gonna drag the ground. That looks real good.

On my 07 I went with the 988 springs. It raised the front about 1 1/2" and stiffened up the ride just a bit. Worked for my crazy little world.

I have a level with 325's on aftermarket rims. Looks real good. I'll have to get some pics up.

I'll also post up some pics hooked up to my 10K toyhauler. It has minimal drop with my WD hooked up and doesn't look funny at all.

It's your heavy skis squatting the back 2" I bet.

Just kidding, looks good. Maybe I won't bother with a leveling kit.
