Question LED Light Resistance Question...

I am wanting to put LED lights all over the outside of my trailer and was wondering if anyone had any idea as to how many LED lights I could wire up on a single circuit before I exceeded the amount of draw that one normal bulb has. I figured someone probably knows the specs on LEDs out there!

Mr. Wiggs,
I got this info:"On average, an LED marker lamp requires 0.05 amps at 14 volts, whereas a typical incandescent light requires 0.4 amps. An average LED stop lamp requires 0.5 amps at 12.8 volts, and a typical incandescent stop lamp requires 2.1 amps."

From this website, there are some manufacture links near the bottom. The links or to trucking sites which should have way heavier duty parts!

The answer to your question is it depends on which fixtures you use & the current draw of each added up!!
LEDs draw WAY less current.

Seems like I could run 4-8 LEDs per bulb and still draw the same current. Does that seem right?

I would think so, but LED's come in all shapes & sizes, so depending if you run strips of lights or individual ones you should be ok, you just have to add up the total amp draw. The LED's draw WAY less current.
Also this site has tons of LED bulbs...... http://autolumination.com/
