The problem with letting these three duke it out online is that it turns into a tranny thread

Kent doesn't post on here, Sage doesn't post on here, and Sean was chastised for shamelessly plugging his product. There will be yet another option here in the next couple months.

For those of you who want more than 2.5"....I'm currently running +6" ride height with 37's. My suspension is not an off the shelf kit, I ordered most of my stuff separately. My steering, track bar, shocks and towers came from Thurenfab, coils from CSS and radius arms from DT. My pitman arm and poly bumps were left over from my first "lift kit". If I don't do something totally radical with the rear suspension, chances are I will go with Carli's mini pack.

My truck is a 2nd Gen, but all of it will either fit on a 3rd Gen or 3rd Gen specific parts are available.

Other almost everything being custom it is pretty straightforward. Talk with Sean he is working on a couple of things and has a good idea on shock and spring combo’s for third gen trucks.

Matt, tell me you're not running that +2" coil with a 4" spacer on top...

Exactly...

One thing I love about DTR is people don't duke it out, when that starts, it is all about ego's and opinions. There are lots of knowledgable people on here, all of which contribute. Look at the 2nd Gen, we have DonM and Marco that post and impart a LOT of knowledge without duking it out/belittling people/advertising. And everyone benifits when it happens like that.

How about this idea...

Tuff 4.5 Inch lift minus shocks... $800 or so
ask them to supply 2.5" coil spacers instead of 4.5".

Use Thuren's Shock Towers, 2.5" springs, mini pack, and 10" Shock of choice.

Custom made limit straps.

Combine the two packages and you essentally have a 5" or so "performance" lift kit that will align correctly.

I will be going down that road this summer.

First off I am not running a 4” spacer, it is more in the lines of 1.75 to 2.00.
Most of custom stuff came from my garage.
I forgot a couple of things:
Custom leaf pak from Alcan thanks to KORE
Custom limit straps.
As of now it looks like I am into this for about 4K.
