Yep, what he said. I even have an adj elbow on my HTB2. 15.00-20.00 pretty cheap and real easy to install

Good safe number is 32psi. And yes, go ahead and have the SMARTY on.

It seems that the line going from the elbow to the wastegate has some kind of crimped hose clamps. one can they be taken off and reused or do i need to buy new ones, and two how do i take them off with out messing them up.

Thanks,
Eric

I was able to slide off the hose without removing the clamp.

when you put it back on did you just slide it back on or did you replace it?

Thanks,

I slid it back on with the original clamp in place.

Or just cut one clamp off and use a SS hose clamp. It takes all of 10mins. More importantly, YES, I AM UP FOR COLD ONES! ANYTIME, ANYWHERE W/ ANYONE!!! Bring on the cold ones! Let's go have some cold ones and talk about where we're going to have some cold ones next! TB just bought a new fourwheeler, so we'll need to go riding also. You can rent one out at Rockdale(and we'll drink some cold ones!)

Installed the elbow and nothing over what i was hitting before. i only have about 1000 ft of road so i can't get going very well but i ran 2nd and 3rd up to redline and only hit 29 i hit 30 on the way to work with the stock slbow in it. now do i need to get into the higher gears to get max p.s.i. or should i hit it every gear? any ideas on why i can't hit 35 psi

Thanks,

I'm not sure about the elbow as I have the whole replacement actuator, but isn't it adjustable? That should determine your psi.

it is adjustable. they said it comes open all the way. and i even opened it up more before my second run. i will have to wait till morning when i head home from work to really test it out. also inside the elbow it looks like it needs ported and polished. should it be smooth or should it have the little bumps?

No, it needs to be closed all the way. Turn the allen head screw clockwise all the way in. Then check things out on your little 1000ft run(and I hope you get pulled over!)

yes turn the allen screw closed(clockwise) like stated^^^
the boost elbow usually gives about 7 #'s of adjustment either way.
