Jason, if you don't want to keep buying replacement filters or filter cleaner and oil, just get one of the Amsoil Nano-fiber drop in filters. They flow real well, and you can blow them out with your air compressor.

Im using Airaid's drop in. It flows well, and you cant see through it, if you hold it up to the light, ....like the K&N.

Here's a vote for the *****'s whistler lots of DTR guys running them.. Only $120 for new parts even cheaper if you know where a semi-truck junk yard is.. the cool part is it looks like the big trucks.. my cousin's '85 KW with a big cam Cummins had a *****'s whistler put on it from the factory

i have the ams oil dry filter. i havent had any problems. i know k&n has alot of problems with collecting dirt. thats what dodge dealership told me

where can i find more info like a actual how to or pictures to a ****** whistler? i searched but didnt come up with anything maybe im searching wrong or spelling somthing wrong thanks guys

i have the K&N, the thing i like about it is the seperate filter for the Charge Air Sensor

I got the Airaid and picked up about .5 mpg on the hiway and throttle response is a lot better than it used to be IMO. I also got a bit more turbo whistle with it; but not loud enufff to drive you crazy.
