I just got back from putting my exhaust on my truck. I just wanted to say thanks for everyones input and info. Sorry for all the repeated posts. I ended up with a 24" magnaflow muffler and 4" x 6" x 18" SS tip. The guy talked me into the bigger tip and it looks so much better than the 5". The longer tip makes it look great. It also sounds exactly as I wanted. Idle you can hear a little and giving it gas you can hear it alot. I thought about cutting the cat off but I don't want to take a chance of getting my warranty voided , at least not yet. I have 12k on my truck..bought the warranty to 100,000. The owner wasnt in yet so the installer gave me the shorter muffler and bigger tip for the same price that I was quoted for the muffler and 5" tip. Thanks again to everyone for your input and help.

If I can find the USB cable to connect my digital camera to my computer I will post some pics of my truck with the tip I bought. I think the 4x6x24 that was posted earliers is too long. Maybe I'm wrong. I paid $50 for my 18". I didnt think that was too bad. I wasn't gonna get a 6" but it looks so much better than the shorter 4x5x12 or 13. I love it.
