Just sold my old exhaust...
Just sold my 6 year old silverline TBE with straight pipe, muffler and tip for 200 bucks (had it listed for 250), and the dude paid me 60 to install it... probably going to get some more work on his truck (he wants to be able to race me and he pays cash) (little does he know all the money he gives me is going into my truck... I have to just about let him catch me... )
It's out of the garage, and I'm happy now, but I wonder if I did good or not...
Thoughts?

My only thoughts are this is October and Christmas is just around the corner so you might think about saving that money for my Christmas present instead of putting it in your truck

That's the same exhaust you sold Angie all those years ago...
Kids are done for Christmas. Angie gets Christmas from me every few nights...

Hat, I thought you bought the FBD 5" exhaust? $60.00 not too bad. Shame you ain't closer, I would've taken you up on that offer when I put on my Silverline.

Yeah, I did. That was my old silverline that the OL got me moons ago.
Yeah, 60 bucks ain't that bad for an install, but I made about 30 bucks an hour if you look at it like that. Getting the old exhaust off was the pain, the monkey that put it on sandwiched the joints together, and the guy would not let me cut it off... I unbolted and pulled the whole thing off.

If someone had paid me the same for installing my exhaust the first time I would have made roughly $10/hour. Getting the stock exhaust off was a PIA. But more importantly, I think I got in to too many Bud-heavies half-way through the install...work got much slower then!

Yeah, I wasn't drinking... I was working on someone's truck I didn't know.
Eric, I was thinking about an air chisel the whole time I was under there... or a new torch.
