cowboy133,

The MK96116 comes with the "S" pipe that aligns the intermdiate pipe with the new performance muffler. Plus the MK96116 is a shorter muffler so it will fit the "envelope" that the stock muffler deminsion used. They sound great!

I got my MBRP system on Tuesday night. The sound is OK, the EGT's dropped by a couple of hundred degrees, but what really impresses me is how much faster I can build boost. Before I was only getting up to around 26 psi max , and now I can hit about 30 psi REAL fast.

Hmmmm what do you mean by the sound is OK? What don't you like about it?

To me, it makes it sound like a six cylinder gasser. I don't have a problem with the sound, but I guess I just expected it to be different.....maybe a little more straight pipish.

awww i see says the blind man
I also just noticed you put this on a 2nd gen.

I need to quit worrying about the shop and get this thing installed. They have installed exhausts before on diesels but i just hate trusting someone else with my truck. How hard of a job could this be for them right??? AHHHH i need a helmet

Horsehauler....you are about 8 to 9 hrs away.....hop in the truck and we can install it together........If you do install it yourself take the rubber hangers off from the truck....put them on the muff and tail pipe hangers first. It is easier to pop them back on to the truck hangers after you dry fit the system back on....use some WD40.

Does the MK96116 muffler fit all the hangers correctly for shortbed and longbed trucks?
